Sunrise in Winter.
Yosemite
is a magical place. I understand why Ansel Adams spent a lifetime taking
pictures of Yosemite. Each morning is new. Winter is my favorite time in
the valley. Winter brings an endless variety of clouds and fog and lighting.
This morning was so cold that I bundled up my bundles. The granite rocks
were creating clouds that drifted into the valley. I was amazed to see
these formations happening before my eyes.

Tips
The
early bird gets the shot. I know that a nice warm bed feels great in the
winter time. My photo tip is to get up and get out there. As an old friend
used to say, "you can sleep anytime". The cloud formations lasted until
the sun rose up. I am sure glad I didn't miss it. |
