| The giant california redwood trees along the Avenue of the Giants are truly giant. The forest floor is moist enough to support lust ferns and green greens. It is a must experience place in my book of favorites. I arrived this day during a light rain. The colors seemed to jump off the page as life took a drink. Some of these trees are 800 years old. I am glad we decide to protect the redwood before they were all gone. Only 5% of the old growth forest remain. |
