Misty Winter Morning - El Capitan during a winter sunrise in Yosemite National Park California USA


Another winter morning in Yosemite National Park. It was SOooo cold I thought I was inside a deep freeze. Mist was pouring out of the solid walls of granite. Clouds were floating into the valley and creating ever changing patterns that were framing El Capitan .

I bought myself a pair of photo gloves after this shoot. I love Yosemite in winter. I like it even better with gloves. This image was held until the final cut for the Sierra Club calendar.
