In 1983
I was 29 years old. I was finally going home to be an artist. I felt so
centered. I felt like all the pieces of the puzzle were fitting together.
I felt strong and empowered.
The confusion of my 20's was nearly gone. I finally knew what I
had to do. I was moving beyond seeking fortune. I was going to be an artist
one way or another, starving or not..
I enrolled back in school and studied my craft at the College of Marin.
The story begins. I did find my way. I did become an artist. Photography
was the answer for me. It was finally revealed to me when doors started opening
on autopilot.
My 20's were a detour into my 30's. I am thankful for the lessons learned,
and the strength I gained from the struggle. I found the starring role as
me. Everything I went through taught me experience. It became a piece of
the modeling clay that shaped me into the person I am today. I wouldn't give
up any of it. I wouldn't change a thing.
Ready or not here I come. One way or another. My voice was finally heard
......by me . I put down
my pencil, picked up my camera and never looked back.
Some stories with rough beginnings do have happy endings.
